Catholic Church, Thessaloniki The traditional Christmas concert of the choir "Les Vocalistes de Kalamari" was given at the Catholic Church of Thessaloniki. Precious moments, special people, happy faces, all of the music, all of the magic was there! The choir, the orchestra, the soloists, all under the inspired conducting of Effimia Chatzigianni-Toumpektsi enchanted the audience and created a fantastic feast of music and an atmosphere of reverence and peace. The magnificent music, gorgeous setting and astonishing acoustics made the perfect prelude to the holiday season. |

Music Hall of Thessaloniki It was a moving evening! Commemorating 100 years since the Asia Minor catastrophe the Hellenic-French School Kalamari organized a glorious production as a tribute to Asia Minor Greek population who suffered the loss of their homes and families and yet found the strength to start a new life in the Greek mainland as their new homeland. It was dedicated also to all refugees around the globe who had to flee war, violence, conflict or persecution to find safety in another country. On stage they have performed the "Les Vocalistes de Kalamari" Choir, the Modern Dance Club, the Music Club, the Traditional Music Orchestra, the Traditional Dance Group and the School's Theater Group. Our choir opened the event by performing traditional Asia Minor songs and songs from the project "Mikra Asia" a cappella and accompanied by an excellent orchestra consisting of Giorgos Kokkinakis (piano), Despina Skendou (violin), Kostas Krapis (mandolin), Antonis Koumandrakis (guitar) and Traianos Albanoudis (contrabass). The arrengement of the songs was done especially for the choir by the conductor and composer Dimitris Karvounis, as well as George Kokkinakis, the choir's pianist. |

Papacharalampous Hall, Nafpaktos Choir fans were forced to be patient for four years due the COVID-19 pandemic in order to enjoy this choir experience. During June 16-17, 2023, choral music has resounded in the picturesque city of Nafpaktos. Twenty one choirs came together for the 10th International Choral Festival of Nafpaktos "Mikis Theodorakis" in celebration of the beauty of choral music. The festival honors the famous Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis is held every two years and already counts twenty two exciting years of choral music. |

Les Vocalistes de Kalamari and the Chamber Ensemble of K.Matsiggos Conservatoire performed Byzantine hymns and beloved christmas songs, in absolute harmony with the grandeur of the venue and the Christmas occasion and were breathtaking for all those who attended the concert. |

The choirs of "Les Vocalistes de Kalamari", the "Cultural Association of Ilioupolis-Evosmos" and the "Friends of the Museum of Byzantine Culture" performed a compelling and pleasing programme comprising a varied range of songs. The event was organized by the Culture Division of the Thessaloniki Municipality. |

The Parliament Building, Nafplio "Les Vocalistes de Kalamari" participated in the 4th Nafplio-Artiva International Choir Festival, Greece. The festival was held on November 15-19, 2017 in the Parliament Building, Nafplio. Twenty six choirs have participated in this event. Our choir, with repertoire consisting of Renaissance, classical, Greek and international songs, charmed the audience and received warm comments for our concert. |

"Les Vocalistes de Kalamari", with their beautiful interpretations, entertained all those attended. Orchestral pieces from the Ensemble of Renaissance and Baroque of the Music School of Thessaloniki, Emily Tzotza (solo violin) and George Litzerinos (solo song) all contributed to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. |

Conference Center, Karpenissi Our choir has participated in the 22nd International Choir Festival of Karpenissi held on June 30 - July 3 2018 at the city of Karpenissi, Greece. Twenty choirs and 600+ choristers from Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and Israel have met to celebrate choral music and share with each other the culture of their countries. The main concerts were performed at the Conference Center of Karpenissi. Special highlight was the colourful festival parade at the city centre where the participating choirs wearing their costumes marched and sung together. |
